Here is the beautiful poem my 10 year old son gave me for mother’s day.  I am so blessed to be a mom.  Motherhood has challenged me to truly “live it” and has helped me mature and gifted me in ways I could never have imagined.  I am so fortunate to have my two wonderful sons. I also thank my mom for all her love, sacrifice, and belief in me!

Ode to Mom

To a mom who buys me no happy meal,
Which never affects how I feel,
Thanks for being real cool,
Even though you make me go to school,
You drink coffee from a mug,
And always accept a quick hug,
You don’t like the wii,
Why you don’t, I can’t see,
I don’t know why my homework disappears mysteriously,
And I hope you’re not taking this too seriously.
