“I have two doctors, my left leg and my right leg.” – G.M. Trevelyan

We will be meeting at the office and walking the adjacent neighborhood.

Come join Doctor Julie on a walk. Move your body, learn more about health, and meet some interesting people. We’ll have an opportunity to talk together, learn about integrative medicine and most importantly move our bodies.

Because March is National Kidney Month, for this month’s walk topic we’ll employ the LEARN task from the LIVE IT philosophy to explore kidney health.

Your kidneys work 24/7 to keep the body healthy by filtering out toxins and extra fluid and regulating blood pressure. Damage to these vital organs could be irreversible, yet so many are unaware of what might be harmful.

We’ll discuss five surprising ways you might be damaging your kidneys.

Most importantly we will walk! If it is raining, come anyway! We’ll do an indoor walking exercise!

This is a monthly, repeating public event and all are welcome.

If you have difficulties finding us that afternoon, please call 512-850-6963. This is the office number for Lake Travis Integrative Medicine.
